Drake Memorial Organization

Brian Drake grew up in Sandyston, New Jersey, where he spent his childhood enjoying sports and outdoor adventures alongside his dad, brother, and close friends. During his high school years, he was a proud member of the Kittatinny Regional High School varsity golf team.

As an adult, Brian settled in Dingmans Ferry, Pennsylvania with his wife and sons. His love for the outdoors and sports remained a constant throughout his life, evident in his many hobbies—hunting, fishing, bike riding, and exploring the woods around his home on his all-terrain vehicle. He was a member of the Hidden Acres men's golf league, where he enjoyed weekly matches with family and friends.

 In 2024, Brian passed away at the young age of 45 after a difficult 15-month fight against cancer. His loss left a profound void in the lives of his parents, family, friends, and colleagues, but especially his wife and two sons, ages 18 and 5 at the time of his passing. In his memory, and to carry forward his spirit, those closest to him came together to establish the Drake Memorial Organization (DMO).

The Drake Memorial Organization (DMO) is committed to giving youth the chance to experience the mental, physical, and social benefits of participating in sports and outdoor recreation. We plan to work toward this mission by donating sporting equipment and providing financial support to individuals, schools, recreational centers, sports leagues, and other youth-focused community programs.

To help bring this vision to life, DMO is proud to host its First Annual Golf Outing on September 5, 2025, at Farmstead Golf and Country Club in Lafayette, New Jersey.

This event serves as a celebration of Brian’s life and a tribute to his enduring love for golf and the outdoors. By raising funds to support local youth year after year, we aim to carry on his legacy—making a meaningful difference in the community he loved.
